An updates os for iPhone iOS 4.2.1 is released by Apple and is called iOS 4.2. With this release of iOS 4.2.1 many updated Jailbreaks also were released. An updated PwnageTool 4.2.1 also is released for your iPad if you would like to JailBreak iPad with iOS 4.2.1. You must take a risk of your own because I had not tested this tool.

Download iOS 4.2.1 iPad
Download PwnageTool 4.2.1 (modified), which is sized around 31MB which is not supported by iPhone Dev Team.
Download the Latest iTunes 10.1 or higher
Now run the PwnageTool 4.2.1 and create a new iPad 4.2.1 custom firmware. Connect the iPad to the internet and put PC in DFU mode.
Enter DFU Mode by this method : press and hold power button and home button for about 10 secs. Release the power button holding the hone button for another 10 secs. You can see a message "Successfully entered DFU mode".
Run iTunes now and restore the iPad with this new custom firmware by holding option button and click on restore.
Browse for custom IPSW firmware file which is created already and open it.
iTunes will now take some time to complete restoration process and you need to wait till it is completed. You iPad will restart automatically after installation is completed.
Note : It is risky using JailBreak Tools on your iPhone. I suggest using original iOS only for better performance. If you still want to risk try the above procedure.
